Meet the Doctor

Dr. Megan Yarkie brings a Hoosier’s heart and an orthodontist’s expertise to every smile she transforms.

Raised in the Irvington neighborhood of Indianapolis, Dr. Yarkie knows firsthand the impact a confident smile can have. Her own experience with braces as a preteen sparked a lifelong passion for orthodontics. Now, as a mother of three and a dedicated specialist, she blends clinical skill with compassionate care to help patients of all ages feel proud of their smiles.

Dr. Yarkie has lived on the east, south, and now the north side of Indianapolis, where she and her husband are raising their sons. Having lived in so many parts of the city, she has developed a deep love for her community and takes pride in caring for the families of Indiana.

Dr. Yarkie completed her undergraduate studies in Neuroscience at Indiana University Bloomington in just three and a half years. She then earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Indiana University School of Dentistry in Indianapolis. After dental school, she pursued her specialty training at Jacksonville University School of Orthodontics, where she earned her certificate in orthodontics.

After practicing in Florida, Dr. Yarkie returned home to Indianapolis to serve the community that means so much to her. She provides a wide range of orthodontic services, including traditional braces, ceramic braces, gold braces, clear aligners, retainers, at-home whitening kits, and custom splints. She also specializes in treating craniofacial conditions and takes pride in caring for patients with special needs. Dr. Yarkie serves as the practicing orthodontist on the Ascension St. Vincent Craniofacial and Cleft Team.

Her office is equipped with advanced technology including digital scanning and in-office 3D printing to ensure precise, efficient, and comfortable care. All lab work is completed in-house by a specialized team, allowing for faster turnaround and a high level of quality control. Conveniently located just off I-465 North, the practice accepts both private and state insurance to make care accessible to families across Indiana.

When she is not perfecting smiles, Dr. Yarkie enjoys spending time with her husband and their three boys. Whether riding bikes around Indy or cheering at weekend polo games, she embraces the joy and rhythm of family life in Indianapolis.
